Attack On Titan is one of the best anime series to be released in recent years, at least in the mainstream. This series is about as compelling as it gets. Attack On Titan - The Story
Attack on Titan, aka Shingeki no Kyojin, follows three children (Eren, Mikasa, and Armin) who all live in a tumultuous era for mankind. Man is literally facing extinction at the hands of a race of giant beings called Titans. For reasons yet unknown, Titans eat only humans while showing no interest in any other creatures.
Man has built three walls to help safeguard against the Titan threat. But early in our story, we find out that the first of these walls has been breached! Mankind is in a panicked state of retreat. What will happen to humanity? Only time will tell.
This story is so good because it incorporates so many classic story themes: from love to fear to family, to social status and equality and more.
This show is TOTALLY worth watching and if you haven't you should get started ASAP. Season Two was just released on April 1st, 2017.
