I was going through my comments today and realized saw that a reader had posted on the article “When in Japan Do As the Japanese Do.” I hadn’t looked at that post in quite some time. There was reference to a comment, one that I completely forgot to respond to. It was a comment that kind of got under my skin a bit, so I my fingers just went to work, and when I came to, it ended up being a lot longer than I had anticipated.
This was definitely one of my more popular posts. For some reason though, somebody had a difference of opinion and decided to let me have it. I don’t know how I overlooked this for so long, but I figure it’s a great way to breathe life back into an article that I really enjoyed writing. I won’t mention any names or anything, but you can check it out by clicking the link above.
I love it when people have differences of opinion, the Japan Guy wouldn’t be what it is if everyone agreed with each other. I think it’s important to hear different sides of an issue, but I don’t think it necessary to insult anybody to do so. I felt a little insulted, so I wanted to get my point across (sometimes you have to speak your mind). But to that person who posted, no joke, I genuinely appreciate you coming by to share your opinion.
